The Rebound PCL knee brace is designed for the rehabilitation of the posterior cruciate ligament ruptures (PCL). It is designed to apply dynamic forces and increase the load upon the tibia as the knee flexes consequently reducing the load upon the PCL.

When can a Rebound PCL be used?

A Rebound PCL knee brace can be used by any patient who has suffered a posterior cruciate ligament rupture. It can be used during non surgical rehabilitation or post surgery where a reconstruction has taken place.

What is the process to be receive a Rebound PCL?

The process to receive a Rebound PCL would be:

  • Assessment
  • Measuring
  • Fitting
  • Review

The Rebound PCL is available in three sizes (small, medium and large) within these sizes there is a large amount of adjustment. Your orthotist will take a series of measurements to ensure the correct brace is selected. On fitting of your device your orthotist will make any adjustments to ensure the brace supports your knee in the most optimal positioning.
