The majority of OA knee braces are pre made therefore to ensure you receive the correct brace your orthotist will need to undertake a full assessment of your knee. This will include observing how you walk, your current pain levels, your activity levels and your range of movement at your knee joint. Your orthotist will also take a series of measurements. Using this information your orthotist will select the correct device for your needs. On fitting of your device your orthotist will make any final adjustments to ensure your brace is as comfortable as possible.
