The purpose of a lycra suit is to maximise postural stability. The light compression from the lycra can improve sensory feedback so the wearer knows the position of their body in space. Reinforcement panels can also be added to further influence areas of the body that may need realigning or supporting.

Your orthotist will then need to take a series of measurements to ensure your suit provides the best support possible. Your lycra suit can also be personalised with a range of colours and patterns to suit your style and preferences.
