The assessment for a dynamic stretching orthoses will begin with an assessment of the range of motion at the joint affected. Your orthotist will measure the affected joint to ensure correct sizing of the device. Once selected your orthotist will adjust the device to provide the required amount to stretch to the affected limb. As your treatment progresses and the joints allows more range of movement your orthotist will adjust the device appropriately.
