Our highly experienced HCPC, BAPO registered orthotists work as part of a multidisciplinary team who will develop the best possible course of treatment for you or your child.

In our spasticity clinic, we provide services for both children and adults to:

  • Reduce pain
  • Increase function
  • Prevent or minimise contracture
  • Relieve pressure points

Our ethos

Our highly experienced HCPC, BAPO registered orthotists work as part of a multidisciplinary team who will develop the best possible course of treatment for you or your child. They work within strict guidelines and will never prescribe orthotics if they do not believe they will be helpful. We understand the importance of cosmesis as well as functionality and have a range of innovative options to suit you.

We have many services that can benefit people who have spasticity. These include:

Multidisciplinary collaboration

In our spasticity clinics our orthotists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists usually work together to find the best possible solution. However, if you or your child is already seeing another therapist who is independent of our company, then they are welcome to liaise with us about treatment or even visit us during your appointment.

Always on hand to help

Our spasticity clinic is slightly different from some of our other services because it requires a course of treatments. We will schedule appointments with an orthotist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist or consultant as appropriate and convenient for you. In the meantime, we are always on hand should you need to make an appointment to see us. We don’t have a waiting list and have immediate appointments.
