Rex Bionics

The Rex exoskeleton device is a handsfree lower limb rehabilitation device which can be used by those with spinal cord injuries or those with disability which impact their mobility. Unlike other exoskeletons the Rex is designed to be used as part of a rehabilitation programme. It has a range of exercises pre programmed into the device called rexercises, this enables users to develop their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance whilst still receiving the support of the exoskeleton. The Rex can also be used at home or work as a mobility device. It is designed to be used hands free so users do not need to use crutches or other mobility aids, this consequently allows users to functional tasks with the hands and arms whilst maintaining stability.

  • Increased mobility
  • Increased strength
  • Increased stability
